Children’s centre
The Children's Centre started in the summer of 2008 and was completed in December 2008 The rebuild has created a new facility of a multy-purpose room which is the main area for the delivery of the Children's Centre programme that has been established with activities and new services that include baby massage, wiggle and giggle, story time, messy play plus an eight week course for lone parents - gingerbread group, carers morning for disabled children run by Parents Active, Teenage Pregnancy Project a Personal Development Course.
These activities are an opportunity for parents and carers to share experiences with each other in a relaxed and friendly environment, with monthly guest speakers and access to a resource library.
