Employability Skills Level 1

Qualification:  Employability Skills Award (QCF)
This qualification provides a base line of employability skills which will enable progression to further learning in general, qualifications such as key skills, especially wider key skills, NVQs at level 1 or 2, and work and employment. The unit on Maintaining Work Standards is particularly valuable for the latter as it sets standards for the development of fundamental requirements of attendance, punctuality, quality of work and health and safety. Other units are also fundamental to seeking, securing and maintaining employment.
