Youth club
Masbro runs a safe, professionally staffed youth club for 11-19 year olds during term times with over 200 active members. The Youth Club is open three nights a week and provides a wide range of activities for young people, including visiting mentor talks and the Minimoto project, where young people can explore their interest in small (under 49cc) motor bikes safely and within the law.
The youth club is proud of the fact that is has received national recognition for its projects and its success in improving quality of life not just for the young people attending the club, but also for different local groups through partnership projects.
- Youth Club sessions: Mon 5-8pm, Wed 5.30-8.30pm, Fri 6-9pm
- Indoor activities include: pool, table tennis, football, homework club, cookery and many others
- Outdoor activities: a wide range including skiing and mini motorbikes
- Partnership projects with residents and tenants associations, local schools, safer neighbourhood teams, police and businesses
