The Edward Woods Community Centre offers a range of activities and services for all ages and interests. Working with local organisations and training providers, we provide advice, information, support and training.

Activities for under 5’s include Play & Learn, Family Sports, fortnightly Baby Clinic plus a crèche for those attending certain training sessions. New Treasure Baskets session on Thursdays.
CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE
Activities aimed at 7–14 year olds include Creative Circle (storytelling, sculpture, arts and crafts), Family Baking, Multi Sports, Street Dance and Taekwondo.
ADULT HEALTH AND WELLBEING
The centre has a variety of activities for people of all ages and abilities to get physical. Whether you want to relax, get stronger, improve flexibility or just play and have fun! There is so much to choose from: Line Dancing*, Dance Mix*, Table Tennis*, Badminton*, Yoga, Taekwondo, Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement*, What the Tech* and Mindfulness.
*These classes are aimed specifically at the over 50s.

Edward Woods Community Champions programme builds on the skills and knowledge of local communities. We bring local people and services together to improve health and wellbeing and to reduce inequalities. Residents and volunteers are fully supported to develop community-led approaches that better meet local health and social care needs.
