Deputy Parenting Project Manager: £36-40K

Urban Partnership Group is seeking a full time Deputy Parenting Project Manager for the ‘Confident Parent Happy Child’ Project (CPHC). CPHC is funded by Hammersmith and Fulham Local Authority and provides a wide range of evidence-based parenting programmes to families across the borough.

The post holder will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience supporting and  working collaboratively with parents from a range of communities and hold a degree within a related field. The post holder should be accredited to deliver an evidence-based parenting programme (e.g. Triple P, Strengthening Families Strengthening Communities, Mellow Parenting, Incredible Years).

The post holder will be expected to work at both an operational and strategic level.

Community Champions Project Support Officer

White City | London

Salary: £9,875  Pro rata        Part Time Post – 18 hrs/ 2.5 days per week

Temporary Contract – Up to 30th June 2019 (with possible extension until 2022)

White City Enterprise is looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our successful Community Champions Project. Parkview Community Champions have a strong track record of delivering innovative health and wellbeing initiatives in White City. We work closely with local partners to promote healthier life choices and raise awareness of wellbeing activities.

Our volunteer Champions engage service users and residents to identify and respond to local health and wellbeing concerns; and will work alongside key services to help improve access, experience and effectiveness. Our project also helps to promote access to the new Parkview Health Centre in W12, which offers a huge range of health interventions to the community. Our Champions deliver events and activities locally to enhance service users’ experience and engage them in positive events and activities.

We are looking for a well-organised, motivated and enthusiastic individual for the Community Champions Support Officer post. Ideally, you will bring to the role some experience of working with or as a community volunteer and delivering or facilitating events and campaigns.  You will have a keen interest in supporting current and new work undertaken with new and expectant parents.

You will possess good interpersonal skills, both with individuals and in group settings and will be confident at engaging with diverse communities.  You will be able to work in an ever changing environment, with an ability to work under pressure to support the Project Manager in the delivery of the Champions and the health promotion activities.  To this end, you must be prepared to work on Tuesdays 10am – 4pm and on the 1st Thursday of every month from 1.30pm – 6.30pm.
