Masbro Children’s Centres offer a range of fun and engaging sessions and activities – such as ‘Play & Learn’ – to support the learning and development of children in a safe and supportive environment. Activities include arts and crafts, sensory play, outdoor play and songs and rhymes. Targeted sessions are also delivered such as ‘Talk and Learn’ for advice and support from a Speech and Language Therapist, Rising 3’s to prepare children for Nursery and Rose Voucher cooking group to support healthy eating.
Sessions are developed around the Early Years Foundation Curriculum and following the children’s interests, to provide a strong foundation of the early years’ experience, whilst maximising the children’s opportunities to play, learn and grow.
masbro outreach and affiliated services
The Family Outreach and Support team provide practical and emotional support to parents and carers. Support ranges from issues with housing, benefits, food poverty and legal advice to social isolation, childcare, and parenting support. We are able to complete home visits, accompany to appointments and support with filling in forms. Our aim is to support families with any difficulties they are facing and empower them with the knowledge and confidence for the future.
